The invention concerns an innovation
for the sectors:
bandages, adhesive tapes and similar
or for generation of energy.
The task of the invention is to create
a novel, reliable development for bandages, adhesive tapes and environmentally
compatible generation of energy, which was not possible by means of the
current use of insufficient technical solutions. The universal tape is
fitted with adhesive connections on the respective longitudinal sides.
By spirally wrapping the object, the invention works similar to an adhesive
or velcro zipper.
The materials of the universal tape
include all materials with flexible and/or elastic characteristics.
The universal tape may be filled up
with a gaseous or liquid medium, and these have properties with respect
to cooling or heating.
The tape surface may be fitted with
upholstering elements on the inside or outside to render the universal
tape impact resistant, puncture resistant or explosion resistant. The universal
tape may be fitted with solar cells and the corresponding electrical terminals
on its tape surface. Due to this, the universal tape turns into a solar
generator tape for energy generation.
The invention has been deliberately
kept simple and usable by anybody, and it is suited for the following
1. |
in the medical sector as support bandage,
plaster cast, compressing bandage, self-supporting emergency plaster cast,
for instance for provision of first aid. |
2. |
in use for all known sports, the tape
as protective bandage is a 360 degree comprehensive protection against
injury |
3. |
in use for construction of provisional
water pipes for the need of campers or the military. |
4. |
in use with surface armor, the tape offers
protection from cutting weapons and stabbing weapons, firearms or explosions
(mines). |
5. |
in use as bandage for arms and legs, the
tape is work protection at work or at home. |
6. |
in use with corresponding armor, the tape
offers protection against animal bite by dogs, alligatos, sharks and snakes
or against pinching. |
7. |
during use, if filled up with cold or
hot water, the tape works like a wrappable thermos bottle. |
8. |
in use filled with a gaseous medium, the
tape is a swimming assistance for children or protection for shipwrecked
persons. |
9. |
in use as heating tape or cooling tape
(compress), the tape is a therapeudic means against rheumatism or disturbance
of the blood supply. |
10. |
in use as tape for wrapping cables, it
offers protection against rat bite. |
11. |
in use in packaging, the tape is reusable. |
12. |
in use with animals, the tape is leg protection
for horses and dogs. |
13. |
in use as solar generator tape, the tape
generates electricity. |
14. |
in use as solar generator tape with battery
connection, the tape is suitable for operation of all electrical computers
and similar. |
The simple method of manufacture of
the universal tape with corresponding modifications includes about 1,500
applications.
Due to the construction-set
design of the universal tape, a price advantage is achieved which is hard
to beat, especially since the type is
for most areas of application
ill. 1
shows a universal tape as self-supporting
emergency plaster casing for first aid. In all three illustration, a Iap-formed
longitudinal edge is visible on the tape and this ensures uniform or non-uniform
wrapping for each object
ill. 2
shows a universal tape as solar generator
tape with solar cells on the tape surface as well as the electrical connections
for operation of a mobile telephone.
